About the European Union Office

HISTORY and MISSION

Our Office has started its activities as a new unit in April 2004 in order to carry out the EU Education and Youth Programmes in our University. On 9 June 2014, following the announcement of the new Erasmus+ Programme for the period between 2014 and 2020, with the University Board decision no. 1998, our unit has been established as a coordinatorship under the name of the European Union of Office.

In the new Erasmus+ programme, which places importance on cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices, the aims are to enable the mobility of individuals, to improve cooperation with the business world, and establishing partnership for employment. In accordance with the aims of the Programme and the opportunities presented by it, our Office has adopted the principle of providing the utmost support for enabling maximum benefit from the Erasmus+ Programme for our students and staff.
